Tennis Australia came under pressure to ignore the anniversary of Margaret Court’s historic Grand Slam victory year.


    Australian Open organisers have sparked controversy by giving a special trophy to Margaret Court, marking 50 years since she won all four grand slams in the same year.

    But many have condemned the tribute because of her outspoken views on social issues including homosexuality.
