Scotland is turning into a key battleground in the UK election.

    The Conservative Party is desperately trying to hang on to parliamentary seats in Scotland, pushing hard for Brexit and against another referendum on independence from the United Kingdom.

    Convincing Scots that Brexit is a good idea is proving difficult - even in normally loyal conservative parts of the country.
