    On November 9, Germany marks 30 years since the fall of the Berlin Wall.

    For generations, it stood as a concrete symbol of the ideological divide that spanned Europe.

    Made up of two walls with the heavily patrolled "Death Strip" between them, the Berlin Wall tore friends and families apart.
