Will Turkey's impending operation in Syria affect its economy?

The Turkish lira weakens over Ankara military operation plan, losing more than two percent of its value on Monday.

    Turkey says preparations are complete for a military operation into Syria which is aimed at clearing the Kurds from northeast Syria.

    The aim of the military incursion is to create a "safe zone and peace corridor".

    US President Donald Trump has promised to wreck Turkey's economy if it behaves "inhumanely".
