Colombia protests: Students want better funding for universities

Police clamp down on the sixth rally organised over alleged government mishandling of funds.

    Thousands of students have been rallying in Colombia, demanding funding for education and an end to alleged corrupt practices at universities.

    Large protests are being held across 17 cities, including the capital Bogota.

    Students say President Ivan Duque has failed to keep his promises to invest in the public education system.
