Brazil oil spill: Origin of sludge remains unclear

Mystery deepens over an oil spill that has affected 150 beaches in northeastern Brazil.

    A major clean-up operation is continuing along the coastline of northeastern Brazil, following a massive oil spill.

    At least 150 beaches have been affected so far.

    The oil has been difficult to track as it is lying under the surface of the water and can not be easily detected.

    Al Jazeera's Gabriel Elizondo reports from Coruripe in northeastern Brazil.
