Amazon Catholic bishops propose allowing married priests

Pope Francis will consider the reccommendations and report back by the end of the year.

    Catholic Bishops from across the Amazon have launched an historic proposal to allow married men to become priests.

    They are also calling for women to be given a higher-ranking role in the church.
