Trump position on gun control central to congressional debate

Gun control is likely to feature high on the agenda of the US Congress as it resumes this week after the summer break.

There have been several shootings during its recess, once again sparking plenty of discussions about how to deal with gun violence.

Central to this debate is the position of President Donald Trump.
