Why is India's car industry in slowdown mode?

Car industry says it is in the middle of its worst crisis in nearly 20 years.

    India is the world's fourth-largest economy, but it is showing signs of a slowdown.

    Almost 300,000 people have lost their jobs in recent months in the car industry alone and the unemployment rate country-wide is at a three-year high.
