Hurricane-hit Bahamas: International aid assist victims

The international community is doing what it can to provide everyday items to help the Bahamas rebuild the lives torn apart by the storm.

    Tropical Storm Humberto has moved away from the Bahamas.

    But heavy rainfall is hindering rescue efforts in parts of the islands previously devastated by a hurricane two weeks ago.

    Both locals and the international community are doing what they can to help to repair, rebuild and rehome those displaced by the storm.

    Al Jazeera's Alan Fisher reports from the capital, Nassau.
