Hong Kong protesters come under attack at metro railway station

Wielding steel rods and batons, suspected gang members attacked commuters at the Yuen Long metro railway station.

Hong Kong‘s leader Carrie Lam has strongly condemned violence following a mass rally against her government.

At least 40 people were injured when a mob assaulted anti-government protesters.

One of them is reported to be in critical condition.
