US Democratic debate: 20 candidates face off this week

Time is short and fundraising dollars increasingly focus on likely winners, making this debate a struggle for survival.

Twenty US presidential candidates will take centre stage at round two of the Democratic Party primary debate.

Over the next two nights, candidates will face off to present their views on key issues facing their country and also emerge as the viable candidate to take on President Donald Trump in the race for the White House.
