Argentina designates Hezbollah "terrorist" organisation

Argentina has accused top Iranian officials and a Hezbollah operative of being behind the AMIA attack in 1994.

    Argentina has designated Hezbollah as a "terrorist" organisation.

    It blames the Lebanese movement for two attacks on its soil on July 18, 1994.

    The announcement coincided with a visit by US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.
