UN says Yemen conflict is worsening

Humanitarian affairs chief, Mark Lowcock, said fighting this year in Yemen displaced more than 250,000 people.

    The United Nations says the war in Yemen is worsening, with 250,000 people displaced this year alone.

    UN Special Envoy Martin Griffiths warned that a fragile UN-led peace initiative is under threat.
