US-Iran sanctions: Iranian investors turning to small businesses

In Iran, oil is not the only source of energy suffering under American sanctions. The threat of punitive action has made doing any kind of trade with Iran highly risky for foreign companies.

    The pressure from US sanctions is having a major effect on Iran's economy.

    With export margins tight, investors are turning to small and medium-sized businesses like coffee shops that can still turn a profit.
