San Francisco bans cashless-only stores

In a new trend in the US, some stores are no longer accepting cash. But what if you don’t have a debit or credit card?

San Francisco has become the latest city in the United States to ban stores refusing payment in cash.

Shop owners say the shift to exclusively digital payments is good for business. But supporters of the new legislation say refusing cash is discriminatory.
