The Final Quarter: Australian football legend fights against hate
A football legend and target of racial abuse – Australia has had a difficult relationship with one of its greatest sportsmen.
The Final Quarter, which premiered at the Sydney Film Festival this month, is forcing Australians to confront racism in their society.
It tells the true story of Adam Goodes – a champion sportsman who was booed simply because of the colour of his skin.
Al Jazeera’s Andrew Thomas reports from Sydney.
