US National Security Adviser John Bolton has said that the last-minute decision to cancel an attack, planned in response to Iran's destruction of a US military surveillance drone, should not be mistaken for weakness.

He made the comments in Israel with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Netanyahu has brought together representatives from the US and Russia to discuss the growing crisis with Iran.
