World Cup 2022: Qatar inaugurates Al Wakrah Stadium

Eager to demonstrate its global appeal, the organisers of the next football World Cup invited international legends to the show.

    Qatar has unveiled its newly-built World Cup stadium - one of the eight planned venues for football's showpiece event in 2022.

    The Al Wakrah Stadium got the star treatment for its inaugural match well before the championship begins.
