Millions missing from electoral roll in India’s elections

Activists say millions of people registered to vote in India’s elections find names removed from the list.

Watchdog organisations say around 120 million voters appear to be missing from the electoral roll as elections continue in India.

They accuse some politicians of deliberately leaving out their rival parties’ supporters

But a new app is making it easier for voters to get back on the list.
