Iranians angry over new US sanctions on Tehran

Iran doesn't believe in Trump's claim that sanctions are designed to get Iranian leaders to start a dialogue with him.

    US President Donald Trump says new sanctions on Iran are meant to encourage a dialogue on a potential new nuclear deal.

    But Iran’s leaders continue to reject that idea and insist there will be no talks between the two sides.

    Anti-US protests were held in the capital after Friday prayers.
