Thousands march to demand release of activists in Morocco’s Rabat

Thousands of demonstrators demand the release of jailed activists linked to northern Morocco’s Hirak movement.

In Morocco, thousands of demonstrators have marched on parliament, calling for the release of what they call political prisoners

They say those in jail are anti-poverty campaigners fighting for change in a neglected region.

But the government considers the 42 activists a security threat.
