Peruvians celebrate the life of former President Alan Garcia

Garcia's political allies blame the press and public prosecutors for his death.

    Supporters of Peru's former President Alan Garcia have paid their respects to him after he committed suicide.

    Garcia had been caught up in Latin America's worst corruption scandal and was facing arrest.

    The former had plenty of loyal followers, but many detractors, too.
