Right-wing media in the US have attacked congresswoman Ilhan Omar over her comments on the September 11 Twin Towers attacks.

The New York Post has been among the most virulent, but the Yemeni American Merchants Association has defended Omar and called for a boycott of the newspaper for 30 days.
