British MPs are preparing to vote on a range of alternative Brexit options on Wednesday after parliament moved to take control of the process of the UK leaving the EU.

It's a major defeat for Prime Minister Theresa May, who is still hoping to get her Brexit withdrawal deal through parliament this week.

That's despite them rejecting her proposals twice in the past.
