Qatar 2022 World Cup: FIFA defers expansion decision

Football bosses have given themselves another three months to make a final call on expanding the next World Cup.

    FIFA President Gianni Infantino has been pushing for a 48-team tournament in 2022.

    The possibility of host Qatar sharing the event with its neighbours has been discussed.
