Germany resists European pressure to ease Saudi arms export halt
The fighter jet is at the centre of Germany’s tug-of-war with European allies over selling arms to Saudi Arabia.
Germany is expected to decide in the coming hours if it will extend a ban on arms exports to Saudi Arabia.
Chancellor Angela Merkel is under pressure from powerful European allies, France and the United Kingdom, to lift the ban imposed after the murder of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi.
