The British Parliament has failed to agree on an alternative to Prime Minister Theresa May's Brexit plan.

MPs have rejected eight different options for the country's withdrawal from the European Union.

Earlier, May had promised she would step down if the deal she agreed with the EU last November was passed by Parliament. But it's already failed twice.
