Brexit: MPs fail to agree on alternative to Theresa May’s deal

British MPs reject all alternatives to May’s Brexit deal, as the UK prime minister indicates she plans to step down.

The British Parliament has failed to agree on an alternative to Prime Minister Theresa May’s Brexit plan.

MPs have rejected eight different options for the country’s withdrawal from the European Union.

Earlier, May had promised she would step down if the deal she agreed with the EU last November was passed by Parliament. But it’s already failed twice.
