The US president will give his second State of the Union Address on Tuesday.

Donald Trump was initially scheduled to deliver his speech in January but Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi had revoked his invitation.

It comes following a bitter partisan battle and the longest government shutdown in the country's history over the funding of a wall on the US-Mexico border.

Al Jazeera's Kimberly Halkett reports from Washington, DC.
