South Africa’s largest opposition party, the Democratic Alliance, has launched its manifesto ahead of elections due to take place in May.

    South Africa's largest opposition party has launched its manifesto.

    The Democratic Alliance's vote share has steadily increased since the end of apartheid in 1994.

    But it has always been much less popular than the ruling African National Congress.
