Trump's space force: US to explore new defence tech

For President Trump, space is the new battleground he would like to exploit.

    US President Donald Trump says he wants to explore space-based weaponry that could shoot down enemy missiles as well as serve as a sheild over the United States.

    He made the announcement while unveiling a new defence strategy, but the plan itself only indicates that research into missile sensors in space is budgeted for.
