Overshadowed by Brexit, the poor and homeless ignored in Britain

Campaigners want politicians and the media to pay more attention to the plight of the most vulnerable in society.

Ever since Britain voted to leave the European Union in 2016, Brexit has consumed the workings of its government.

Campaigners say this has taken the focus off other important issues like poverty and homelessness, which they worry will only get worse if an EU agreement isn’t reached.
