Russia targeted African Americans to aid Trump: Report

Russian hackers preyed on African Americans' historical disenchantment with the US political system.

    African Americans were the prime targets of Russia's efforts to help US President Donald Trump win the 2016 presidential election.

    That is the finding of a report from the US Senate Intelligence Committee.

    Black Americans make up nearly 13 percent of the population and tend to vote for Democrats.
