    The US president, Donald Trump, has threatened to close the border with Mexico if his administration decides that its neighbour has “lost control” of its side of the frontier.

    Thousands of asylum seekers from Central America are gathering at the US border in Mexico hoping to cross over.

    Al Jazeera’s John Holman reports from Tijuana, where the mayor is warning of a looming humanitarian disaster.
