President Trump expected to snub Paris Peace Forum
At a gathering to mark the centenary of WWI’s end, the French president has organised a venue to bolster international cooperation, an event the US president is expected to skip.
US President Trump is heading to Paris on Friday for a weekend of ceremonies to mark 100 years since the end of World War I.
But one event he will not be attending is a summit on global cooperation organised by the French president to coincide with the gathering.
It’s a sign of the increasingly different view Donald Trump and Emmanuel Macron have towards multilateral institutions.
