Xi Jinping won't attend N Korea's 70th anniversary celebrations

China's president won't be joining North Korea's 70th-anniversary celebrations.

    Xi Jinping has declined to attend the celebrations in Pyongyang, dispatching a high-ranking official instead.

    He is reportedly disappointed at the lack of progress on de-nuclearisation since the Singapore summit between North Korea’s Kim Jong-un and US President Trump.
