Germany a key obstacle to Brexit deal

People in German political and industrial circles tell Al Jazeera that the country does not regard the UK as a priority.

    British Prime Minister Theresa May is heading to a gathering of EU leaders in Austria on Wednesday to try and shore up support for her Brexit plan.

    One major stumbling block could be Germany.

    Previously seen as friendly to the United Kingdom, people in German political and industrial circles tell Al Jazeera that the country does not regard the UK as a priority.
