Gaza killings: Israeli army launches investigation

The Israeli army is to investigate the deaths of two Palestinian teenagers shot and killed by an Israeli soldier during protests near Gaza border fence.

The killing of two Palestinian teenagers during protests near the Gaza-Israel border fence will be investigated by the Israeli army, which has said there is suspicion the military violated rules for opening fire.

One hundred and sixty-seven Palestinians have been killed since weekly protests against Israel’s blockade of Gaza began in March.
