    The president of the European Council has warned world powers against starting a trade war.

    Donald Tusk made the comment as EU leaders meet their Chinese counterparts in Beijing during a two-day summit.

    China wants to present a united front against US President Donald Trump's trade tariffs and the summit with the EU has provided a timely opportunity.

    Al Jazeera's Adrian Brown reports from Beijing.
