Thailand: Search for missing football team bringing unity

Religious leaders highlight spiritual bond as people of different faiths strive to rescue 12 teens and coach missing in flooded cave for nine days.

    Expert scuba divers are swimming deeper into a flooded cave system in northern Thailand hoping to find a football team that has been missing for nine days.

    About 1,000 Thais have joined the search operation for the 12 teenagers and their coach.

     

    Al Jazeera's Scott Heidler reports from Chiang Rai on how the crisis is bringing people closer together.
