Some members of Thai youth football team who were trapped in flooded cave for more than two weeks are becoming novices in Buddhist ceremony to show gratitude for rescue mission.

Some of the Thai boys who were trapped inside a flooded cave for more than two weeks have begun the process of becoming novices in a Buddhist ceremony.

For the boys, becoming novices in the monkhood is a way of saying thanks for their rescue and honouring the memory of former navy seal diver Saman Gunan who died during the operation.
