UN peace envoy: trouble brewing on two fronts in the Middle East

UN special envoy to the Middle East Nickolay Mladenov has urged all sides to begin to work for true change.

    The UN envoy for Middle East peace has warned of rising tensions between Israel and Syria and the risk of "another devastating confrontation" between Israel and Hamas.

    Nickolay Mladenov made the comments during a UN Security Council meeting in New York.
