First person: N Korean defector 'anxious' about Trump-Kim summit

YouTuber Ttohyang, who defected from North Korea in 2009, shares her thoughts on the historic meeting.

    South Koreans hope the historic summit between US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un will pave the way for people to reunite with their family and friends in the North.

    Hundreds defect from North Korea each year, most of them settling in the South.

    We spoke to one defector, Ttohyang, a YouTuber who defected from North Korea in 2009 and now lives in Seoul.
