'Pain and trauma' haunt Puerto Rico as hurricane season begins

Hurricane Maria hit Puerto Rico last September, but the island is still struggling.

Hurricane season is beginning in the Caribbean, and people on Puerto Rico fear they will not be able to weather another storm.

Tens of thousands fled to Florida after Hurricane Maria devastated their homes eight months ago.

Hundreds remain in hotels, relying on government aid that will end soon.

Al Jazeera's Andy Gallacher reports from Kissimmee, Florida.
