Libyans call on UN 'to stop war on Derna, lift devastating siege'

'The United Nations Support Mission In Libya has let us down,' says member of Libya’s High State Council.

    People in Libya's eastern city of Derna are demanding the United Nations step in to end the conflict.

    The city has been under siege for almost two years by forces loyal to renegade General Khalifa Haftar.

    Al Jazeera's Mahmoud Abdelwahed reports from Tripoli.
