Palestinian protests persist despite Israel threats, killings

Eighteen people have been killed there since Friday and more than 1,000 others have been wounded.

    Israel's defence minister has warned protesters in Gaza that anyone who demonstrates on the border is putting their life at risk. That has not stopped Palestinian men, women and children from staging a six-day protest in the Israeli buffer zone.
