Pakistan: Thousands protest over extrajudicial arrests, killings

The police killing of Naqeebullah Mehsud, an aspiring Pashtun model, has generated demonstrations in Peshawar from the Pashtun community, who say they are targeted by the police and army.

Thousands of people from Pakistan's Pashtun community are attending a rally in Peshawar to demand rights and protection.

The so-called "Pashtun Protection Movement" says the security forces are carrying out extrajudicial arrests and killings.
