    Murders in Mexico have risen to the highest point in two decades.The rise in drug trafficking and violence was the key topic at the first of three presidential debates.

    Under fire was frontrunner and leftist candidate Andres Obrador, who is suggesting the use of amnesty for some suspects to reduce violence.
