Ilham Aliyev has secured a landslide victory in a snap presidential election that was boycotted by the main opposition parties.

    Azerbaijan's president has won a fourth consecutive term in a snap election that was boycotted by the main opposition parties.

    Ilham Aliyev claimed victory in a televised address, after taking 86 percent of the vote.
