Reports: McCabe gave memos on Trump interactions to Mueller

Former Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe insists he was fired in an attempt to undermine special counsel Robert Mueller's probe.

    US President Donald Trump’s lawyer has called for the investigation into Russia’s election interference to be shut down.

    This follows the firing of former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe.

    But new reports suggest McCabe has already shared evidence with special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation - personal memos taken of his interactions with Trump - which may prove to be a headache for the president.
